My Daily Life as a Single Parent
Somebody thought that I am quite a superwoman. How could I manage to update 3 blogs, drop 600 ECs to promote two of my blogs then accept some freelance jobs? Do I still have that precious time for my kid?
I had already established a routine for each day. First, I start off by checking my email. I want to see opportunities lined up for the day. Then I’m off to make a list of things to do. I start working for the day which includes writing some new blog posts. Then I promote my blogs by dropping some ECs (I get a good return nowadays – I get more than 300 return drops the following day).
I also do those crazy pay-to-click jobs. I don’t forget to check my email and my feed reader and visit other blogs. This would really keep my butt glued to my computer chair almost all day!
Huhumm… well, a typical boring day for the single mum!
Things get a bit exciting when my kid gets home from school. I had to force myself to get away from my PC to help my kid with her assignments and her daily lessons. That’s actually necessary because my kid’s lessons are a grade difficult than those lessons that I had when I was at her age.

Not Knowing How to Cook
I had to forgo cooking and housekeeping tasks. I never got the chance to learn how to cook very well. Cooking for foods really takes more time. I prefer spending that time for doing work, that can be spent for at least one paid blog post, an hours of PTC clicking and any other opportunity that earn me some online money and most importantly – for taking some very much needed rest.
My parents help me with those other tasks, but I eventually have to hire a maid to do those work. Most of the time, I pay for a laundry service. Since my dad is out most of the time, he was kind enough to fetch my kid to school and wait for her to come out.
There is no more time for me to do those things that home-based wives (and some home-based husbands) do for their partner – like doing laundry, cleaning the house and cooking. I chose to be the full-time breadwinner because I can just hire someone who can do all those work.
