The biggest thing that I worry these days is how I can help my kid make up for the missed lessons in school. I had written about my worry about her measles these days. Now my daughter is fine and I had just sent her to back to school this morning armed with a copy of the medical certificate and an excuse letter addressed to her teacher. After I am done with this blog post, I will be preparing myself to get out of my house and visit her in school to make sure that she gets a dose of her remaining medicine.

For the first time, I had actually even canceled one good online work opportunity just to take care of my kid. I logged in early today just to talk to a client to tell him about that urgent matter. I am not complaining about that loss. I still have enough to take care of our needs. I can’t give up working though, but I decided to work online at less hours than before.

I am also hoping I could get to talk to some of her teachers too – maybe they could help me. Her final examination will start this weekend. I hope she will be able to get passing marks on all her school subjects. She had missed more than a week of school.
