Internet is Out for Days – and I had Accompanied My Kid to School

My internet connection at home is not in a good condition and with that, I could not do my work. Unfortunately, the loss lasted for days in a row: when I called up the customer support they told me that there’s a confirmed problem in my area.

With that I missed lots of opportunities earning online from freelancing, paid reviews and those money earners in my ptc site. I logged in today and saw three job interviews for freelance jobs that are waiting for me to accept. However, with the state of my internet connection today – which I assume that it is a major problem that my ISP is taking care of.

I was also about to update this the single parent blog with some fresh posts. But that bad internet connection beat me to this task.

But one there’s one good thing that I was able to do in exchange for that loss of work: I was able to send my kid to school. My dad does that for me but today I was the one who walked her to school. I often do the opposite – fetching my kid during the school’s dismissal time. Sending my kid to school early in the morning is not something that I often do because I am a working single parent. Although I got tired of that brisk walk that my kid and I did so she would not end up getting late for her classes, my kid seemed happy and pleased that I had accompanied her. I’ll be taking her out too after dismissal.

When that internet connection at home gets restored, I might not be able to do this again. I love my kid so much, but as working single mom I have to divide my time between work and family life.
