I suddenly got sad at the news that reached me today. Francis Magalona, the Filipino rapper whom I liked to listen to during my teenage years has just passed away. He was 44, and he succumbed to leukemia, even if he was treated with several chemotherapy sessions. He also blogged about his condition.
My all-time favorite tune is Kaleidoscope World. Not one of his rap songs, but I remember playing that with a borrowed guitar during my high school years.
The world will truly miss you.
