Crooked Houses and Vacations
Today my internet connection isn’t working on my favor, so I decided to leave home and spend the rest of the day outside. The day started out fine, I sent off my kid to school (something my father does for me), then went off to pay the bills.
After that, I spent the rest of the day contemplating my life goals, and what I really want to do. A few moments later I eventually I found myself wishing that I am on a vacation on the southern part of my country (Philippines), or visiting some South East Asian country, just like what my still-single-and-no-kid college batchmates had been posting in their Friendster profiles.
If life turned out differently for me – still single and having no kid at this age, then I would have also be like them, spending part of my earnings travelling to places in and out of my country. Like my old schoolmates I would have ventured into adventures that I can also show off. I would probably be booking an accommodation that I like from Accor Hotels City Super Sale to enjoy the beautiful Singapore.
But life turned out differently for me, so most of my earnings go to meet the needs of my kid for her education and her future. Those awesome vacation plans will have to wait for a while – eventually my kid and I will soon find a way to spend time together and enjoy the city of Singapore, and not just watch much of Crooked Houses on TV
