So, I Wrote Some Hot Keyword Posts

hot keywords

No doubt, in my curiosity to earn bigger income from my blogs as shared by my friend Pastilan, I tried my hands on hot keyword posts. It’s true, this had attracted massive visitors from Google and this had boosted my Adsense income a few cents on my Adsense to at least more than a dollar each day with a few posts. However, this is at the expense of losing touch to some new readers who want to keep up with me.

It’s a known fact that I write sponsored posts along with my non-sponsored ones. I am aware many bloggers want to read and participate in non-paid posts and they often skip reading sponsored content. I had read dozens of posts about bloggers hating to read blogs with lots of paid content. Tags and meme too, are something that many bloggers skip reading – most tags and memes are in for padding non-paid content in between paid content, aside from the attempt to link backlinks and retaining or boosting PR; and some instructions written on these memes are just outrageous.

Now I’ve started that hot keywords method in blog posts. I don’t have to worry anymore about my PR and Alexa just like I did with doing paid content, as well as dropping ECs to generate traffic. As I had tried writing some few posts, I realized it was a race against time, as I worry a lot that the keyword would not be hot anymore in a few hours. I realized that writing these kinds of articles is even worse than accepting paid post opportunities, as I end up writing poor quality articles just to have these articles with Google.

I had to rethink of what I want for my blogs. Should I stop writing paid posts and hot keyword posts? I plan to be very picky in choosing my topics, instead of writing all those opportunities at every way I can. I love having visitors from Google as it keeps my blogging income afloat, but I still like to have my blogging friends to happily read my posts and make thoughtful comments. Perhaps I would start a new blog or two that allow me to indiscriminately write endless articles which are just made for those droves of visitors from Google.

glad to see you are back to posting Gem, i was wondering actually why i've been missing your updates or latest posts. i am not very familiar with what works with blogging, but i am enjoying the process of knowingfriends, like you, who otherwise i will never have any chance of meeting. i also love to read blogs for other experiences help me learn too.

i am doing paid posts or sponsored posts now, but i just choose the ones i am more comfortable writing or i have something to say, because i am not a very good writer, so it is alot easier for me to write something that i know of.

Hehehe I also have that problem. I don't write hot key words. So super baba adsense ko.

I would love this blog to stay as "the single parent talks"

I guess what must of paramount importance should be traffic and return visits, you may try with SEOs for getting Google traffic – but it is return visits, which actually keep any website/blog running. So, whatever you do, please keep in mind the return visit factors. This is what I believe.

I always thought that driving traffic is good. So, if the opportunity arises, maybe you can use them.

I can relate to this. I have stopped writing quality post due to paid post. It was easy and more convenient for me considering the fact that I want to make more money. As a result, my pr went down to zero due to lack of readers [I guess] and my blog suffered a big blow. I had to admit, my blog know has no "heart and soul". I miss writing from the heart. I miss writing personal experiences that I know I will always look back in the future that will surely remind me how blessed I was back then.

Oh well, life is tough indeed and we do need to make the right choice even if it is just blogging. take care.

I want this blog to stay as Single Parent Talks, Gem. In fact, it was easy for me to remember its name because it is something a lot of people can identify with. And there should be a wealth of topics and titles you can write about under "single parenthood".

But then, it's your own call – how to strike a balance between earning revenue and writing from your heart.

    Have a nice weekend!
